Section 215 . No , section 115 . Texts ! It was crazy in those hallways . Could they make the hallways in the 200's smaller ? The hearts were willing J . We'll meet someday .
I am glad you had a good time , kids , dancing , happy gf . Your uncle surprising you was great . "There are no secrets anymore." And you are not kidding about the smoke . I went out to the hallway a few minutes into Two Djinn to try and regain my musical bearings . Smoke was pouring out of the exits like a giant was exhaling from inside MSG .

Sean, it was a pleasure meeting you and Deb!

Really enjoyed our meal and time together at Sigiri!

Sorry you didn't enjoy Further, but naturally I'm not surprised ;)

Hope you will come fishing next summer!

Obviously Sean is the one in the Touchhead cap :-)

As for all the black, well, I think it's required dress in NYC. Cliff, of course, refuses to go with the crowd. But he probably had to pay a fine.

So you weren't sold on Furthur at MSG, eh? Always wanted to see an MSG show (never got there "back in the day"), but I'm with Deb on sometimes feeling claustrophic at big huge places unless they're ... well, outdoors, or somehow cozy. And NO DANCING? Were they trying to invent a new form of punishment? Or running a test? Restraining Deadheads to see if they'd explode?!?

I'm so mixed on the idea of seeing Furthur. On the one hand, what little I've heard (not having had the heart to listen to whole shows) sounds so good that I really really want to see them and want to take my kid and let him have at least some of the experience, and I feel bad that it's highly unlikely that I'll be in the States when they're playing nearby. (So I kind of don't WANT to like them).

On the other hand, I'd be afraid of going and then NOT enjoying it. Which, however, is how I felt before every one of the (very few) shows I saw in the '90s. Worried about whether I'd like it. Though it always turned out I had a good time.

Oh well, it's all theoretical ...

Cliff it was great to meet and spend some time with you and Christine. I really enjoyed our meal! I guess you're glad we didn't really talk you into going with us last night. Our lunch was the highlight of our day! Let's do it again soon.

Ah!! Finally faces to go with names! Great.
tho I am disappointed after all the hype about "hippie renaissance" :) everyone's in black!

Sean and Deb have to be on the left; Cliff's posted his own pic here before so I know him, even without a fish in the picture ...

Hey...you can't see my skirts (yes I had 2 on) that my kids so nicely told me clashed well together! I had a great time...the food was good, the company was fantastic!

Thankfully, the food was not as scary as it could have been had we not had an awesome (and knowledgeable) waitress. I was really quite scared to eat there and found, with her help, incredibly yummy food! Don't ask me what I had because I have no idea...it didn't look at all like what the description said it would be. I would definitely go back there next time I have a craving for Sri Lankan food.

Sri Lankan is scary?!? Now here's where I'd post a pic of our recent meal here in the Himalayas, Fried Coagulated Blood of Recently Slaughtered Goat, if I could just figure out how to post pictures ...

Very yummy. C'mon over for dinner sometime :-)
